Thailand: abundant Western food and also a great escape from cold weather & staring eyes. This was my first year to book my own tickets separate from a travel agent in Asia. There were some extra steps involved but it ended up much cheaper. When I got to the counter for one of my connecting flights the young lady there gave me a small paper and my passport back. I asked "What's this?" She responded "Boarding Pass." I looked closer as I chuckled. Then she said "Very Cheap" and we both laughed. This was my ticket which she wrote/stamped my info on.

A class picture in Thailand.

The Street Market

These are 'Rotee" in the making. One of the sweetest little treats imaginable. A small fried dough with chocolate banana, peanut butter, sweetened condensed milk or any other combo of sugar-filled toppings imaginable.
