"Move Night" Party

I was just listening to Bing Crosby and I had to disagree because it is certainly not beginning to look like Christmas here. It's sunny without an inkling of snow although there are some decorations in stores.

This was a party for the students who helped us with our weekly movie-directed English corner. Excellent English speakers and great people to boot.

We played 4 on a couch and used Christmas hats to differentiate between the teams since there are never enough guys in the English department. Then we got into some "Majiang" and Dutch Blitz.

Once they got the hang of it we just tried to help the slower ones. They love this game as much as I do. One of my students has made her own deck of colored cards so that she can play with her friends.
...Send more decks!

hey, I just re-checked your site. I think I remember playing four on a couch with everybody in Koon, but I don't remember using cards. Anyway, it's a funny memory in my head. :)

Ooo. 4 on a couch. I need to teach that one. Majiang and Dutch Blitz are favorites here, along with Mexican train dominoes. Love games.
