To the real world

I was able to go to a student's home last week and see a bit of what his upbringing was like. His mother is out of town working in a city to make enough money for him to go to school so I wasn't able to meet her and his father died from cancer a few in 2004. So these are some pics of our time there.

These are some of the (rice) fields that his family tends. They grow just about everything but rice is the only thing that they can really sell for money. Big farms can produce other veggies on a large scale cheeper for the masses.
