Jing De Zhen

For part of this week my teammate Amanda and I were able to go to Jing De Zhen with some of our best friends - one boy and one girl - to the girl's hometown. It is the ceramics capital of the world. We saw so many cool ceramics. It's a beautiful city too with a fun downtown shopping area. Amanda got sick the second day so we didn't get to do as many things that day but it didn't stop us from enjoying each other.
The family was so nice. Her mom was amazing: cooking and cleaning all the time and always laughing. She was super cool.
Her father was a true rags to riches story, which I don't know how often that happens but it seems pretty amazing to me.
Pictures coming soon...
...ok they're here.
