Long Time Coming

So maybe it has been a while.
Lately it's been a little crazy here and really good in some ways too. The weather has been right in the range that is nice and comfortable. Everyone says that when the cool goes away it's unbearable. Thankfully we're spoiled and have A/C that we can use if needed. But just like in the States it's expensive.

We had quite a rainy spell for a few days and I wondered if Noah was coming. This is our field.

Maybe some of you have noticed the subtitle on the blog. It is said that Nanchang is the 6th most dynamic city in the world. At least that is what a newsweek article said. We're ranked up there with London, Munich, Las Vegas...yup and there is Nanchang. A suprise to everyone here I'm sure. It was to me.

Would you like some choiceness cane? They sell it here! I'll bet you can't get this in the US! Be sure to read the "Using Method" or you might misuse this product.

One of my students playing ball.

A student of mine who loves to play basketball. It was a cold walk home in shorts and a T-shirt so I let him borrow my Hometown sweatshirt.

Bekah and me learned some Chinese characters. It's like art class. It doesn't seem to make any sense with the meaning of the words. Pure memorization.

Eventually the entire Freshman class came to sit in one place at a basketball game with us - the foreign teachers - they love to travel in packs. It was a fun time and Amanda taught them some cheers. Good thing because the game was a blowout.
